‘Dr. Bhiwgade’s Biotech Research Centre’ has been developed by Dr. Dayanand Bhiwgade to create value to the society using the platform of Biotechnology. BBRC has been registered under the trust ‘Dr. Dayanand Bhiwgade Educational Trust’ with a vision of providing superior and quality education in the field of Biotechnology. This trust has another center “International Center for Bioinformatics” which focuses on courses of bioinformatics and informational technology has also been registered under the same trust.  

These two centre work together with Dr. Agribiotech private limited company. This company is set up in Khalapur, nearly 30 kms away from Panvel. This company has been set up with the objective of working in the field of agriculture, plant tissue culture. 

WHAT WE DO 
At Dr. Bhiwgade’s Biotech Research Centre, we provide the best of facilities for training and project work for students from the field of biotechnology and related science subjects. We have developed customized diploma courses and modules in Genetic engineering, Molecular Biology, Industrial and Clinical Microbiology, PCR technology, Enzyme technology, Immunology and many more.  
We believe that our well-structured infrastructure and guidance will develop an environment of continuous knowledge creation with which an individual can realize his/her dreams. BBRC is a centre of Excellence where an individual can achieve his/her goals with the best of infrastructural facility. 
We undertake contract research in the areas of DNA sequencing and analysis, protein purification, molecular diagnosis, gene expression, allelic discrimination, HPLC analysis, plant transformation, animal tissue culture, molecular cloning. We are well equipped to undertake and execute contract research for both the government and private sectors. Apart from this we also extend our self in providing support in designing and developing project proposals and provide our suggestions on the various critical issues in the project and the work plan.  
We are also a hub for investigation and assists scientist for clinical trials and for the detection of major human pathogens with cost-effective means. We also deal in molecular diagnostics of infectious and heredity diseases.
